We’ve done our homework. We know there are lot of other sites and groups dedicated to Kittehcoin. See: Reddit page, Telegram group and the numerous BitcoinTalk.org forums. We also know Kittehcoin has issues. We’ve emailed directly with the original developer and are aware of the existing problems; but we’re working on them. We’re currently trying to figure out if Kittehcoin is the right coin to use for our communication platform. So far, we think we’re headed in the right direction but the finish line isn’t in sight yet. This is a marathon not a sprint.
We realize that disabling the “comments” section may not seem like a move toward transparency—but it is. We’re trying to be clear and remain open about our progress and goals while trying to limit the chatter that sprays back at us. Yes, of course we think it’s adorable when people relentlessly post ‘to the moon’ and ‘Kitty sez…’ comments* … but save it for the Telegram channel or Reddit. We follow the forums and you can interact with us there. But for now, we’re trying to keep the site free of spam, speculation, and rumors. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
* Full transparency: We lied. We actually think that’s annoying.
